Bad Service at Makmur Cafe

Last week, Saturday, 29 October 2007, break fast at Makmur Cafe with my dearies. So, we kinda had a very bad experience/service. Utterly disappointed!

You see, Hajar had already reserved a place 2 days in advanced. Airul & I went in first since we arrived earlier. We went in, stood near the door, there's this lady, she's the staff there, looked at us, that's all. Although it never stated "Please wait to be seated", at least have the courtesy to acknowledge us. Then we heck care, went to this table with the name holder 'Cik Siti', the name Hajar used to reserve but I was wondering why it was for 4 pax. Actually that's the different & the ONLY one Siti there. Then Nana & Sop came in then call the staff, then this and that, you know, we have to go in & out of the cafe with everyone looking at us. We felt like an idiots! So luckily, there's this table for 15 pax, only 5 came and they managed to get seats for us.

Time, 1835hr. Food already ordered. Time, 1840hr. The staff poured water for us and Nana asked for another cup cos they only put 5 cups instead of 6. Time, 1845. No cup arrived. I think we have to wait like 15 mins until we get the cup. Time, 1902hr. Prayer call for us to break fast. Soon enough our ordered drinks arrived. 1920hr. Food have yet to arrived, everyone fed up, Airul & I went for Maghrib prayer first. Time, 1935hr. When we arrived, only rice, kangkong belacan & egg were served. Last min. the staff told us garoupa no more. So we ordered siakap. Before that, Nana asked whether the omelette S or M. She said S. Nana said that we ordered M then the staff said "Oh, actually this is M." At that point I already felt cheated! If you looked at the omelette, it looked like they cooked 2 eggs. Kalau malas nak tukar cakap. Melayu dengan melayu pun nak tipu ke?

Time, 1945hr. That's it! Although the rice, veggie and egg had been served, we only paid for the drinks. Before that they asked us to hold on saying it's still cooking. There's 3 staff at the counter then one by one went to the kitchen as if to avoid us. As if to delay time so that by then the food will be ready.

Within that one hour or more that we'd waited, table on the right and left had already finished their food and went off. By the way, we did ordered first before the outside table. But people at the outside table get their food first.

So, this is a bad customer service! Oh yah, THERE'S NOT EVEN A WORD OF APOLOGY FROM THEM!!!! They don't know how to handle this kind of situation. Time, 2015. That's the time we like really break our fast. I don't think I want to go there anymore!
